Epiphany!!
I went to my first Epiphany party today. For the non-Christians among us, the Epiphany was the manifestation of Christ to the Gentiles. It always takes place on the 6th of January and marks the last day of Christmas. You may learn more by reading the Bible, book of Matthew 2:1-12. I learned today that showing up at an Epiphany party does not satisfy one's weekly obligation to go to mass. Hhmmm....
Today we use the word epiphany to describe a moment of sudden revelation or insight. You know, those a-ha moments when it all becomes crystal clear. As we enjoy these early days of the new year, my hope for you is that you stay open to these sudden moments of clarity and that they may give you strength and passion to make positive changes that carry you to even better days.
Happy New Year!
Thanks for reading.

Is Epiphany also when the Three Kings arrive? Or do they arrive on Dec 25?

Epiphany is in fact when the wisemen came with gifts for baby Jesus. No one really knows for sure how many wisemen made the journey to Bethlehem. We just assume there were three since they brought three gifts.
